This Sunday!The Honolulu Century Ride will put about 3,000 cyclists on the road early this Sunday between Kapiolani Park and Swanzy Beach park. It's that time again, the Albtross are nesting, the seals are basking, and when we are lucky, big waves are crashing. On a good day we get it all at the same time and the only way to know for sure is to go there. It is a bit of a trek, so heading out early is a plus. The Contemporary Museum has a photo exhibit running through March 9th. Richard Misrach took his 8 x 10 view camera to a room above Sans Souci beach and, over time, came away with a fantastic collection of images. It's the time of year for shopping and shooting (Photos) for me. Actually, more the latter. I am starting to do more "street shooting" from the hip of kids with big eyes for for toys and Santa.
