Photo Opp. - Honolulu Orchid Show 10/10-10/12/08

Hi Everyone,

There's a great floral photo opportunity coming up -

The Honolulu Orchid Show is next weekend, Friday Oct. 10 through Sunday Oct 12.

This is the largest orchid show of the year, with many of the orchid clubs on Oahu and in the past has included clubs from around Hawaii and the world. (air travel cost may preclude off-island participation this year).
Display are spectacular and provide great opportunities for both wide-angle and macro.

The show runs Friday 10/10, Saturday 10/11 and Sunday 10/12/08

Location: Lanakila Elementary School Cafetorium
717 North Kuakini St. Honolulu, HI

Admission charge $2.00

Hours: Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (sales end at 3 p.m.)
