Guest Speaker: Mr. Gerald H. Emmerich, Jr., HonPSA, GMPSA/b
Title: The Polar Bears of Churchill
In November 2014 my wife and I went to
Churchill, Manitoba, Canada to see and photograph polar bears. Along the way, we also were able to
photograph the Northern Light, sled dogs, waterfalls, and snow-covered
landscapes. This presentation will also discuss why the polar bears are
dependent on the ice flows of Hudson Bay and what their chances are for
survival. And of course, this
presentation will have lots of photos of polar bears – as my wife says,
“They’re so darn cute!”
