Instructor of Photography – Wright College, Chicago, 1995-2003, teaching Black and White fine art printing, and matting and framing.
Head of Photography Dept. South Campus- Wright College, Chicago 1998-2003
Creative Use Consultant for Polaroid since 1998- one of 5 photographers selected for Polaroid’s creative program.
Started with Adobe Photoshop 2 in 1995 and am currently using CS3.
Also started with Elements 2 in 2000, and began teaching the program at the same time.
He is a member of the Photographic Society of America,( PSA) and has received the honor of Associate . Has served on the national board and is currently Vice President of the Print Division.
Also belongs to the Canadian Association of Photographic Arts,( CAPA) and serves as Regional Director for the U.S.
Belongs to the Photographic Society of Hawaii, has served on the board of the Chicago Area Camera Club Association, belongs to the Nature Camera Club of Chicago, the Wright Camera Club, and the Pixel Image Camera Club.
He has presented programs for both PSA and CAPA, and for SWMCCC( the Southwest Michigan Camera Club Council), for the Chicago Area Camera Club Association(CACCA), for the New England Camera Club Association(NECCC), and for the Photographic Society of Hawaii .
He also teaches a 2day class in the fall and a week long class ( both on Elements) in the summer at THE CLEARING, in Ellison Bay, Wisconsin .
His philosophy about teaching photography and Elements is to have fun and to enjoy this great hobby we all share. Both film photography and digital capture are very satisfying but having full control of your images in photoshop will multiply your enjoyment exponentially.

Maybe Mark can teach a class on elements to our members since meeting night is too short. Or would be rather be enjoying the beach, surf and sunshine before hitting the snow.
